The White & Associates Insurance - Wimberley-Dyer Agency first originated in 1905 as Union Insurance. On June 1, 2005, White & Associates Insurance and Tommy Wimberley acquired 2/3 ownership and we became known as White & Associates Insurance - Wimberley Agency. Jon Dyer became a partner in 2018 and then managing partner on January 1, 2023. Security Bank and Trust Company continues to serve as our valued agency partner.
The agency is located on the court square in downtown Paris at 200 West Washington Street.

About
Tommy began his insurance career more than 35 years ago and has been a W&A partner for over 10 years. He says, “It’s a great thing to come to work doing something I love with a great group of people.” He and his wife, Debi, have three children: Brian, Brandon and Beth. They share five fantastic grandchildren: Sarah Jane, Reese, Caleb, Ann Taylor and Rebekah Ann. Tommy enjoys playing golf, ballroom dancing and traveling with Debi. He has been blessed to call Paris home for all his life and plans to keep it that way!

What was your biggest cooking/baking flop?
None, I only do the grilling and I never mess that up. My wife does the cooking and she never fails.
Scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
The Exorcist way back in the 70’s. I stopped going to scary movies after that.
How did you meet your wife?
At the Little League baseball park on May 7, 1965. Her brother was on my team and my father was the coach.
You have a surprise day off, how are you spending it?
Taking my grandkids to Disney World!
Gutsiest thing you’ve ever done?
Asked my prospective father-in-law if I could marry his daughter.

Jon joined the Wimberley Agency in 2015 and has rapidly grown into a knowledgeable Property, Casualty, Life and Health agent. Jon and his wife, Savanna, met in high school and sparks flew when they were both sophomores at Bethel University. They were married in 2015 and share one pup named, Piper, and the sweetest baby girl, Demi Jo. Jon enjoys spending time on Kentucky Lake with friends, golfing, hunting and Tennessee Football.

I’ve competed in several wakeboarding competitions. Some of the tricks/flips can be very intense!
What is one thing you refuse to eat, no matter how much someone offered to pay you?
There is a price for everything.
Last book you read?
R.L. Stine’s “Goosebumps”…just kidding. Actually, my older brother was published recently. His book is called, “Esoteric Hollywood.” It is about symbolism in movies and available for purchase on Amazon :).

Definitely Morgan Freeman.

Kenitha joined the insurance industry almost 30 years ago. She enjoys the challenges, problem solving and the victories that come with working in insurance, as well as getting to know her customers and spending time with her co-workers. She and her husband, Ernie, have seven children between them, Marc, Adam, Amanda, Josh, Luke and Calen. They have seven grandchildren, Rian, Alaina, Kennedy, Aden, Daniella, Kendall and Brooklyn. Kenitha likes to read a good book. She loves spending time with her grandchildren and dogs, being with friends and family and her 1977 Red Corvette!

Quirkiest thing about you that most people don’t know?
We bury people. My husband and I own a burial vault company. We work with different funeral homes and do the set-ups at the grave sites. If you come to my house you will see 20+ burial vaults sitting in my driveway.
Something good that happened today?
At my age, most people do not have their parents, but I still have my mom, Carnell, and that is a blessing to me everyday. She is my biggest fan.


About
Candy began her insurance career more than 20 years ago. Candy fell into the industry by chance and she says she quickly realized that it was a great way to make a good living while offering her the opportunity to help others. She and her husband, Jess, stay busy with their four children, Callon, Colson, Carter and Corrye Blaire. Candy loves spending time with her family, working in the yard, going to the beach, watching Carter play baseball and dressing up her little girl, Corrye. For the past 14 years, she and Jess have presided over the Paris Soccer Club, which had blessed them with the opportunity to work with many children in the Paris area.

Rob Hessing joined W&A in July of 2021. Rob is a graduate from Austin Peay State University and came to W&A with more than seven years of expereicnce in the insurance industry.
