Shelia joined White & Associates in 1985. She and her husband, Tommy, have been married for 37 years. They have one daughter, Tosha, who makes them proud everyday. Shelia has three fur-babies, an eleven year old boxer named Bailey, a rescue lab mix named Winnie and a cat named Ziggy. She also has an ornamental pond with about 40 Koi fish that are over 25 years old. Shelia and Tommy love antiques and primitive shopping. They say, “The couple that collects together, stays together.”

What is your favorite high school memory?
I know you won't believe this....but I got an award at my graduation for 12 years of perfect attendance! (Staff Disclaimer...we have to beg Shelia to take a day off!)
Have you always lived where you are currently living?
With Dad's help, we tore down the house where my Mom was born and raised to build our current home. It is just around the corner from my childhood home.
What is the gutsiest thing you have ever done?
Tommy and I kayaked Charleston Harbor when it was 40 degrees outside and the water was white-capping.
Something good that happened today?
I woke up to the smell of Tommy cooking pancakes and bacon.

Robbinsville, North Carolina and the Smoky Mountains. I would rather be in the mountains than at the beach.

Amy joined White & Associates in 2000. Amy and her husband, Tim, married in 2015 and she has two children, Tanner and Trevor. Their family is having fun restoring their new home. Amy loves yard sales and is always up early on Saturday mornings, and sometimes even before work on Fridays, to hunt for a great bargain. She loves traveling to the beach and taking time to relax by the water.

I could name so many! I have a natural shake called Essential Tremors. The people that know me know not to ask me to pour the tea or pass a bowl of food because the contents might end up on their lap!

"Watch Me Whip, Watch Me Nae Nae"...my nieces and nephews love it! I wish I had rhythm and could dance with them.
How would you spend a surprise day off?
In the swimming pool!

What was your biggest cooking flop?
I have had several "flops" but I do remember one in particular when I was dating my husband. When making him spaghetti, I grabbed the cinnamon by mistake and covered the sauce with it. It was really bad! We went out to eat.
What movie can you watch over and over?
Steel Magnolias. I cry and laugh so hard I hurt.
How would you spend a surprise day off?
I would sleep in a bit, and then have a delicious lunch at Asia Garden in Jackson with my daughter, Erin. We live for sushi!

Kick Hickman joined W&A in 2024 and serves as our sales manager for our Advanced Planning and Financial Services Department. Kirk joins W&A with three years of experience in the Life, Annuities and Retirement Planning field and over 15 years spent in the sales industry. Kirk and his wife, Megan, have two daughters – Avery (15) and Addy (12). They also have two pups – Finn and Maggie. He is a 2002 graduate of Dyersburg High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. Kirk enjoys playing the guitar and cheering on the Vols and the Cubs. Kirk is also a twin!

While working as an interior designer, I helped design and install actor Steven Seagal's Memphis home.
What is your favorite memory from high school?
Going cow-tipping...joke was on us though. We went up to a cow, heard a strange sucking noise and then the cow charged at us. The cow had a calf and was, naturally, very scared when we approached.
What movie can you watch over and over?
Mamma Mia! My husband hates it because it is a musical, but that's part of the reason I love it!
Something you refuse to eat?
Seafood is a "no way" for me. I can barely stand the smell of the seafood department at the grocery store. If it doesn't cluck, moo or oink, then I don't want it.
Something good that happened today?
I was able to say goodbye to my husband and furbaby this morning when I left for work. Davey is usually up and gone before I ever roll out of bed.
