What was your biggest cooking flop?
I have had several “flops” but I do remember one in particular when I was dating my husband. When making him spaghetti, I grabbed the cinnamon by mistake and covered the sauce with it. It was really bad! We went out to eat.
What movie can you watch over and over?
Steel Magnolias. I cry and laugh so hard I hurt.
How would you spend a surprise day off?
I would sleep in a bit, and then have a delicious lunch at Asia Garden in Jackson with my daughter, Erin. We live for sushi!

Amy joined White & Associates in 2000. Amy and her husband, Tim, married in 2015 and she has two children, Tanner and Trevor. Amy loves yard sales and is always up early on Saturday mornings, and sometimes even before work on Fridays, to hunt for a great bargain. She loves traveling to the beach and taking time to relax by the water.

Quirkiest thing about you?
I could name so many! I have a natural shake called Essential Tremors. The people that know me know not to ask me to pour the tea or pass a bowl of food because the contents might end up on their lap!
What song is in your head right now?
“Watch Me Whip, Watch Me Nae Nae”…my nieces and nephews love it! I wish I had rhythm and could dance with them.
How would you spend a surprise day off?
In the swimming pool!

Robbinsville, North Carolina and the Smoky Mountains. I would rather be in the mountains than at the beach.

Shelia joined White & Associates in 1985. She and her husband, Tommy, have been married for over forty years. They have one daughter, Tosha, who makes them proud everyday. Shelia loves all her fur-babies and enjoys an ornamental pond on her property with about 40 Koi fish that are over 25 years old. Shelia and Tommy love antiques and primitive shopping. They say, “The couple that collects together, stays together.”

What is your favorite high school memory?
I know you won’t believe this….but I got an award at my graduation for 12 years of perfect attendance! (Staff Disclaimer…we have to beg Shelia to take a day off!)
Have you always lived where you are currently living?
With Dad’s help, we tore down the house where my Mom was born and raised to build our current home. It is just around the corner from my childhood home.
What is the gutsiest thing you have ever done?
Tommy and I kayaked Charleston Harbor when it was 40 degrees outside and the water was white-capping.
Something good that happened today?
I woke up to the smell of Tommy cooking pancakes and bacon.
