Martin joined W&A in October of 2014. He is a licensed property, casualty, life and health agent. Martin joined W&A after spending four years working within the accounting firms of Alexander Thompson Arnold and Joe Enoch & Associates. He and his bride, Emily Caton, live in Newbern, Tennessee with their two kids, Adley and Andrew. Martin enjoys going hunting, watching Tennessee football and grilling on a Big Green Egg.

Laura was the very first employee to join White & Associates in 1978. To say that Laura and W&A have had a good run would be a big understatement! We would not be the same without her. Laura and her husband, Daryl, have two married children and five precious grandchildren. Laura loves to read, enjoys the beach and makes her very best effort to visit the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis at least twice a year.

What would you do on a surprise day off?
I would love to go to the movie theater and binge watch movies all day.
What song is in your head right now?
5 Little Speckled Frogs...my granddaughter, Halle, sings it alot!
How did you meet your husband?
I was at Sunkist Beach at Reelfoot lake. Daryl had a boat and I wanted to ski.
Gutsiest thing you have ever done?
I surprised my entire family when I sang, "In My Daughter's Eyes," at my granddaughter's christening. I have sung at church many times but never something so personal. My mother was able to be at church that day. It is one of my most cherished memories.
Something good that happened today?
I got morning kisses from three of my granddaughters!

Tommy joined White & Associates in 2004. He is a double degree graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin and the 2015 Insurors of TN Young Agent of the Year award recipient. Tommy and his wife, Whitney, have three children: Edie, Woods and Bennett. When not on the road for sporting events, their family loves a good day on the lake. Tommy enjoys biking and watching his two favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Tennessee Volunteers.

One food that you wouldn't eat as a kid that your love now?
White beans (I need the hot sauce though).
Scariest movie you have ever seen?
I am not into scary movies.
Gutsiest thing you have ever done?
The gutsiest I can think of was during the Dyersburg Leadership retreat when we had to climb to the top of the light pole (harnessed). The last step to get to the top was tough… I can't stand heights. I'm not much into extreme adventure.
Something good that happened today?
I've been out of town all week. Happy I was able to see my family before going into work this morning.

Whitney officially joined White & Associates in 2003. Unofficially, she has been helping her dad at the office since she was old enough to talk. Not too many people can say that they love being able to work with their family, but Whitney enjoys every minute of being able to work alongside her parents and husband each day, as well as others who have become family over the years. Whitney loves spending time with her three children, Edie, Woods and Bennett, especially when they are somewhere warm. She enjoys devoting time to give back to her hometown of Dyersburg and serving on the Dyersburg City School Board.

How did you meet your husband?
We had a business class together at UT-Martin but didn't start talking until one night at The Pub (Martin grads all have great memories of The Pub). We asked each other to go to our fraternity/sorority socials and the rest is history.

Smoked paprika right now....thanks to Tona Roberts and her black bean recipe.

Kristen Treece joined W&A on on October 2021 and is a licensed property and casualty agent. She comes to us from the banking industry and after commuting for many years, is excited to be working close to home! She and her husband, Josh, welcomed a baby girl named Piper just a few short months ago. They also have three pups, Motley, Krew and Willow. Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and going to St. Louis for Cards games.
