Samantha joined W&A in 2015 as a member of our health insurance call center. She moved to the Forrester, White & Mathis W&A office in June 2016 and is licensed in property, casualty, health & accident insurance. She has one pup named Mr. BooBoo, a cat named Nixon and four nieces and nephews. Samantha is passionate about photography. She has been published twice, has shot over 20 weddings and shot over 100 sessions. Samantha studied philosophy at the University of Memphis and loves practical ethics, bioethics, Aristotelian metaphysics and utilitarianism. Whoa!

Richie’s father started Bodiford Insurance Agency in Selmer over 50 years ago. Richie followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the agency in 1987. He has been partnered with W&A for more than 20 years and says the best thing about the insurance business is being able to make a living by helping others. Richie and his wife, Lorrie, love to cheer on their daughter, Chelsea, who played basketball at Union University and is now pursuing a graduate degree. He enjoys raising horses and spending time with his friends and family.

Dena has worked at White & Associates, Bodiford-White Insurance Agency for over 10 years and has been in the insurance industry since 1985! Dena likes that insurance allows her to opportunity to meet and talk with lots of new people and that no two days are ever the same. Dena enjoys getting to spend time with her two children, Brandi and Derek, and their spouses Bridget and Thomas. She loves jogging, working in her yard and going to the beach every chance she can get. Dena also enjoys running the café snack bar and arranging dinners at her church.

Austin Cavaness joined Bodiford-White Insurance in April of 2022. He comes to W&A with prior insurance experience and his L&H license. Austin lived in Dyersburg before moving to Henderson in 2001. He graduated from Chester County High School where he played football and basketball. He has a Business Administration degree from University of Memphis. Austin and his wife, Chelsea, married on April 3, 2021. They have an Australian Shephard named, Sadie, and attend Foote Street Church in Corinth, MS.

Kenitha joined the insurance industry almost 30 years ago. She enjoys the challenges, problem solving and the victories that come with working in insurance, as well as getting to know her customers and spending time with her co-workers. She and her husband, Ernie, have seven children between them, Marc, Adam, Amanda, Josh, Luke and Calen. They have seven grandchildren, Rian, Alaina, Kennedy, Aden, Daniella, Kendall and Brooklyn. Candy began her insurance career more than 20 years ago. Candy fell into the industry by chance and she says she quickly realized that it was a great way to make a good living while offering her the opportunity to help others. She and her husband, Jess, stay busy with their four children, Callon, Colson, Carter and Corrye Blaire. Candy loves spending time with her family, working in the yard, going to the beach, watching Carter play baseball and dressing up her little girl, Corrye. For the past 14 years, she and Jess have presided over the Paris Soccer Club, which had blessed them with the opportunity to work with many children in the Paris area.

Caleb Grissom joined W&A in December 2023 and is a licensed property & casualty agent. Caleb grew up in Paris and comes to W&A with ten years of customer service experience. He is a member of Rotary, Executive Director of the Paris/Henry Co. Arts Council and a board member of the Paris/Henry County Heritage Center. He is also a member of 1^st Christian Church, his church Historian, and serves as the substitute pianist. Although insurance runs deep in the Cary family (Alan’s younger brother, John, works for BlueCross BlueShield and his father had a lifelong career in insurance), after graduation from Freed-Hardeman University, Alan spent some time in radio and television! In 1989, he made the decision to follow in his father’s footsteps and began his insurance career working for BlueCross BlueShield. Alan moved back to West Tennessee in 2000 to join his dad at Cary Insurance. Alan is an active member of his church and the community, serving in the Martin Rotary Club and the Martin Business Association. Alan and his wife, Kim, have two children, Addison and Anderson. If you want to know something about the cultural icon, Prince, Alan is your go-to guy!

Vickie Hazlewood’s career in insurance began in 2008 when Alan Cary was introduced to her at a local doctor’s office. Since then, she and Alan have made a fantastic team and her knowledge, service skills and friendly voice have guided many clients to better days! Despite many arguments, she does not work at a pharmacy, but her identical twin, Becky, does. 🙂 Vickie is a lifelong resident of Martin and she is an avid volunteer. Vickie is a member of the Martin Kiwanis Club, where she currently serves as the President, and she also enjoys her work with the Special Olympics. Vickie and her husband, Madison, have one daughter. If you see a little red-headed pitcher slinging strikes on the softball field, you can rest assured Braedyn’s momma is near!

John and his wife, Cathy, were married 20 years ago and have two children, Harrison and Ashlee. John and Cathy celebrated the birth of their first grandbaby, Ellis O’Neal, in 2017. John’s greatest desire is to be able to give back to his community. He currently serves as the Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor for the Northwest TN region. John is also our office musician. Troy joined White & Associates in 2007 and is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent. Troy and his wife, Amy, have two sons, Carter and Conner. They spend a lot of time as a family on the road competing in Junior Livestock competitions. The Arnolds’ sheep and hogs are tough to beat! They most recently won Supreme Champion at the Delta Fair and Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee. Troy also enjoys being actively involved in his church, Second Baptist, and serves as a Deacon.

Walker Gorman joined our Employee Benefits team in 2024. Walker holds life, health, property, and casualty insurance licenses.  Prior to joining W&A, he spent four years working with a very respected captive insurance agency, following in both his grandfather and uncle’s footsteps. Walker attended the University of Mississippi and Jackson State. He and his wife, Taylor, have three daughters – Leighton, Holland, and Aurora (1).  They also have three huskies – Shadow, Shasta and Flash. Whitney officially joined White & Associates in 2003. Unofficially, she has been helping her dad at the office since she was old enough to talk. Not too many people can say that they love being able to work with their family, but Whitney enjoys every minute of being able to work alongside her parents and husband each day, as well as others who have become family over the years.
